We hope and pray that this letter will find you well physically and rejoicing in the Lord. We honestly write to you with a heavy heart. We are praying for the States and the troubles that the Country is suffering at this present moment with all the natural disasters.
I would like to take this time to encourage each one of us with Jesus's words written in the Gospel of John 16: 33: " I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulation. but take heart! I have overcome the world. " Thank God for this good news, comfort and great hope we have only in Him!
I would like to give you these updates from the last newsletter we sent:
About 5 months ago on February 2025, I was supposed to travel to El Salvador, Central America, in partnership with the Italian ministry named "Forever Ministry". We had organized with several churches also meetings in the region of Honduras and Guatemala as well. Unfortunately that trip was canceled due to a personal family situation from the main person who invited me to assist them in this mission. This was a big disappoint because I would have loved to visit once again Central America and bless and love on the churches and communities with whom we once worked together with several years ago. Praying that in the Lords timing this will happen.
Our heart here in Sicily is to continue to be a blessing for the local churches and individuals: with preachings, teaching whenever possible and always trying to engage with Ministry opportunities and see how we can fit and find new strategies together. Praying for this country and the Lord to break this bondage of idolatry and open their eyes to the truth of our Living Savior Jesus Christ! Please agree with us in prayer.
I have a prayer request for a person that I met several months ago. One Sunday morning at Church, a brother in the Lord from Brazil asked me if I'd be interested to teach Spanish to a friend of his because in 1 year this person must present himself in a College in Spain to receive his Diploma and he needed help to improve his skills with the language.
His name is Giuseppe and we've been meeting once a week. We have a great time together with the Spanish language, and over 40% of our conversation is about Jesus and the Bible!
We are now in the middle of summer here in Sicily and it is very hot and humid. Several times we experience a wind from the south of the Mediterranean Region that blows sand all over from the Sahara Desert, Africa.
During the summer we often have several guests that we host in our small apartment. We had the joy to finally have our son Andrew come for the very first time since we returned here 8 years ago to Italy! He was born here some 35 years ago. He visited us this past June . (we visited him in the States a couple of times during these past 8 years) What a joy to have him with us and we spent a lovely time together! THANK YOU JESUS!
Just 1 week ago we were in Catania and we attended a 2 day event of an International gathering organized by some people that I have known for many years. We thank the Lord for fellowship amongst the brethren and it's always a blessing to see the desire of the believers to want to grow in Christ through His word.
At this present moment MMO, Christ Reign, Christ is the Answer and K 180 ( a branch from the Billy Graham Ass. ) from London, UK. are organizing 2 Conferences for Leaders and Pastors in Siracusa with the help from the local church for the months of September and in November. The name of this conference is "History Makers" as this is the name of the ministry we are organizing this event for here in Siracusa. We have worked along side with them in the past year's and it has been a blessing.
In December, for the 2nd time we will be involved in a conference here in Siracusa once again with the ministry "The Land of the Bible". This is in partnership with a few other ministries and the local Italian church. The subject is focused on the importance of Israel in prophecy and the end times and how Christian believers should be informed and involved in a biblical matter.
